Late Night Is Tough

With the additions of Wanda Sykes and Late night shows spoils us with an over-saturation of really good comedians providing really good material each and ever night. Only problem is that you can't watch all of them at the same time. I consistently watch Conan (Letterman is really stuck in the past, which works for his audience. But it's not a very large audience). Carson Daly has such a great, underrated and unwatched show. Ever since he switched to his new, on the street format with the artistic camera work, I've fallen in love with it. His emphasis on music also makes it a winner for me.

I love music, so that's a big reason that I watch Jimmy Fallon before Craig Ferguson. Now, Ferguson and his show is hilarious at times, as can be evidenced here and here, but Fallon has The Roots.

Jimmy Fallon has The Roots.

One more time, Jimmy Fallon has The Roots.

The Roots did this.

They've CREATED OVER A THOUSAND "SANDWICHES," basically the songs that lead in and out of commercials. Keep in mind that a thousand is a lot. Of anything. Never mind them being full length songs. That is why they're one of the greatest bands of all time. You can't even argue that.

So yeah, I'm done. Why is the late night stuff better than the prime time shows?
